Ordered my parts on Tuesday and they arrived Wed morning!! Replaced interlock switch plunger and spring, which was obviously broken compared to the new one. This solved the problem of my door not latching but the machine would still not turn on. So with two interlock switches on the door, one had to be bad. So decided to start by replacing one switch at a time until I found the bad one. If both were bad I would just buy a second switch. First switch replaced turned out to be the bad switch! Problem solved! Machine now latches properly and starts like it is supposed to. Quick fix all for $24! As far as the filter nut hub goes, I broke the little tabs, so that was a quick swap out. Nancy V Lake Park , FL November 19, 2016 Appliance: General Electric Dishwasher GHDA485N10CS No water coming in and washer kept running when door was opened Changed the water inlet valve for the water problem. To fix the problem of washer running while door was open, took off the front panel and changed the plunger sw interlock and spring which fixed the problem of washer running while door was opened mid wash cycle. Changed the clamp to the discharge hose as it had rusted.Changed keeper latch assembly as it had cracks on the plastic.
