Description

This temperature control thermostat regulates your refrigerator's cooling by sensing cabinet temperature and cycling the compressor. Replacing a failed control restores consistent temperatures and normal on/off operation.

• Monitors cabinet temperature via a capillary sensing bulb
• Opens/closes electrical contacts to start and stop the cooling system
• Common symptoms of failure: too warm or too cold, runs constantly or won't run, no response to temperature dial, intermittent cooling
• Restores predictable cycling and temperature regulation

• Disconnect power before servicing
• Photograph/label wire positions; transfer any brackets/insulators from the original control
• Route the capillary tube exactly as original; avoid kinks and ensure the sensing bulb is secured in its clip/well
• After installation, set to a mid setting and allow up to 24 hours for temperatures to stabilize
