Deborah S Neptune City , NJ July 20, 2015 Appliance: General Electric Electric Dryer DBXR463EG3WW Overuse and not changing the knob in time led to turning the shaft to both the timer and the starter with pliers which eventually broke them I watched the videos, ordered the parts, followed the instructions on the videos, and WALLA! my dryer is fixed and working beautifully. Walt B Clermont , FL May 26, 2014 Start button and switch broke on my ge electric dryer The switch fell inside the dryer .The knob slipped so badly it rounded the shaft on the switch.If you pushed on the knob it would turn but finally broke.When I opened the unit I found the plastic holding the switch had broken into pieces. I took some epoxy and glued the switch back in.I used a Drexel tool to remove the broken parts which allowed the shaft to stick out further .I put the new knob on and the dryer is fixed. Read More...
