Description

This mechanical timer controls and advances cooking/wash/dry cycles so your appliance runs through its programmed steps. Replaces a failed or intermittent timer to restore normal cycle selection and timing control. What it does:

• Advances the appliance through timed cycles so each step runs for the correct interval
• Routes power to the appropriate circuits at the correct times
• Stops or fails to advance when worn or faulty, causing the appliance to remain stuck in one cycle or not start
• Commonly used when cycle selection knob turns but the machine does not progress or selected functions don't engage

• Disconnect power (unplug or shut off breaker) before installing to avoid shock
• Remove control panel/knob to access and replace the timer; keep track of mounting screws and any brackets
