Description

This high-voltage transformer supplies the elevated voltage needed by a microwave's magnetron so the oven can heat food. It replaces a failed HV transformer to restore proper high-voltage output and normal cooking performance. What it does:

• Converts low-voltage input to the high voltage required by the magnetron
• Restores heating when a failed transformer caused little or no microwave output
• Can prevent arcing or unusual noises when damaged or shorted
• Works with the microwave's HV capacitor and diode as part of the high-voltage circuit
