Description

This transformer kit replaces a failed power transformer in your microwave, restoring the correct output to the high-voltage circuit so the magnetron can generate heat and the oven operates reliably. What it does:

• Steps up incoming line voltage to the high voltage required by the magnetron
• Supplies power to the microwave's high-voltage circuit during cooking
• A failing transformer may cause no heat, loud humming/buzzing, a blown internal fuse or tripped breaker, or a burning odor
• Used when the original transformer tests shorted/open or shows signs of overheating

Install notes:

• Disconnect power before servicing; microwave high-voltage components can retain a dangerous charge—properly discharge the capacitor
