Description

This start switch completes the dryer's start circuit when you press Start, energizing the motor to begin the cycle. Replacing a worn switch restores consistent, reliable starting when the original becomes intermittent or electrically open. What it does:

• Completes the start circuit to send power to the drive motor when Start is activated
• Common failure symptoms include the dryer not starting or no response when pressing Start
• May cause intermittent starts that require multiple presses or jiggling
• Switch may feel loose or show heat discoloration at the terminals

Install notes:
