Description

• Opens and closes to supply water to the steam system when commanded
• Directs water from the household supply through the attached tube to the steam outlet
• Prevents water from entering the dryer when the steam feature is off
• Typical symptoms: steam option won't spray, weak or intermittent mist, dripping into the drum, leaks at the rear inlet, or valve buzzing with no water flow

• Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before servicing
• Pull the dryer forward to access the rear and place a towel to catch residual water
• Note hose orientation; transfer any fittings or clamps from the old part as needed
• Restore water and power, check for leaks, and run a brief steam cycle to verify operation
