Joe S Indian Springs , AL February 27, 2015 Appliance: Model GE PROFILE WASHER Water to washer tub wuld not shut off Replaced inlet water valve. Simple repair. Removed control panel cover with few screws on back, removed valve with 4 screws, rubber tubing and clamps, disconnected electrical spade plugs. Reversed the above and the new valve is in and works perfectly. No problems. Simple to do, and will save you $$$$. I called GE and they gave me an estimate of nearly $450.00! I went online to research it. Appliance Parts has easy videos so I simply ordered the part and I was able to fix it within 30 minutes! One I ordered the part and paided extra to have it shipped over night which it did come on time. The entire repair took 20 minutes and saved me at least $250 I will contact them again for sure.
