Description

This water inlet valve assembly controls and directs water into the washer during each fill. When it fails, you may see no fill, slow fill, incorrect temperature, overfilling, or leaks—replacing it restores proper water control.

• Opens and closes to allow hot and cold water into the tub as commanded by the control
• Seals closed when not energized to prevent unwanted filling or drips
• Common symptoms: no fill, slow fill, or the washer stopping with a fill-related error
• Leaks at the valve body or water seeping into the tub when the machine is off

• Unplug the washer and turn off both water supply valves; place a towel to catch residual water
• Label and disconnect inlet hoses; relieve pressure, unplug the wire harness, and remove mounting screws

• Reconnect hoses and power, turn water on, and check all connections for leaks before running a test cycle
