Bruce M Auxvasse , MO June 15, 2015 The hot water was slow to fill on new ge washer in addition the warm water fill was cold The new GE washers come with a fill valve that has a 1/8" hole for the hot water inlet. This is probably for energy savings or something. So, I installed the older style GE fill valve on my new machine. Since the older style has larger inlet holes for both hot and cold water, it fixed my problem easily. NOTE: The outlet nipple on the new style GE fill valves are larger than the older style. Therefore, I had to make a coupling piece to attach the older style GE valve outlet nipple to the larger outlet tubing. Nydia R Stroudsburg , PA November 13, 2015 Cold water dripping into washing machine tube even when water was turned off I scheduled GE to repair my washer so they sent a part a few days before the repair date in a padded bag. When the technician came, the part was damaged and he could do nothing. I took a day off for this. I went on-line and ordered the part from you which came in 2 days and in a box (not a padded bag like GE). When I rescheduled the repair, GE again sent a replacement part which arrived the day before. But when the tech opened it, it was the wrong part. Thankfully, I had ordered the correct part from ApplicancePartsPros. GE installed it, the machine is working perfectly, and I didn't have to pay GE $60 for the same part I got from you for $13. I couldn't be happier. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Read More... 5 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
