Description

This refrigerator water inlet valve controls the incoming household water supply to the dispenser and icemaker. When energized, it opens to allow water flow, helping restore reliable dispensing and proper ice production.

• Regulates water flow to both the dispenser and the icemaker
• Common failure signs: no or slow water dispensing, no ice production, small/hollow ice cubes, valve humming but no water, or water leaking from the valve body
• Electrical solenoid-operated design opens only when signaled by the control system
• Helps maintain consistent water delivery and ice fill levels

What's included: 1 water inlet valve assembly Install notes:

• Disconnect power and turn off the household water supply before servicing
• Place a towel or pan to catch residual water; relieve line pressure carefully
• Transfer tubing and wire connectors one at a time to the new valve to avoid mix-ups
• Check for leaks after installation; do not overtighten compression fittings
