Description

This is an air filter cover assembly that is used on many Generac pressure washers. The responsibility of the air filter cover is to secure the air filter to the pressure washer and ensure the air filter is protected from damage and debris. If the cover isn't in place, the air filter could get damaged or become overly dirty an clogged. Impact or use can cause the air filter cover assembly to break or be damaged and it will need replacement. The replacement requires no tools.If the air filter cover assembly has cracks or holes, it should be replaced. It comes with tabs attached which make it easy to install or remove from the pressure washer. Turn off the pressure washer and place it on a flat surface. Remove the spark plug wire before taking off the original air filter cover assembly using its tabs. The new filter can be installed in its place.
