Description

This fuel filter keeps dirt and foreign objects out of the fuel system of Generac generators. Fuel, particularly when stored in portable fuel tanks, is prone to getting dirt and debris in it. Before using it in a generator or other piece of equipment, the debris needs to be removed. If the dirt and debris are not removed from the fuel, it can enter the fuel system and cause damage. The fuel filter prevents this from happening.Fuel filters need to be examined and replaced as part of routine maintenance. A visual inspection will show if the filter is dirty or not. If dirty, the filter is easily removed with a pair of pliers. The new filter can be put into place using your hands. The process normally takes less than twenty minutes.
