Description

This thermal relief valve ensures that a pressure washer's pumps operate in a safe range to prevent any issues with overheating. When in bypass mode, the valve opens up to release the hot water. At this point, cold water can reach the pump so it continues to operate at the correct temperature. If the pump in the pressure washer starts to overheat, it is an indication that the thermal relief valves may need to be replaced.When the valves aren't working correctly, the pump can get hot and push the valves out of the machine. This helps prevent additional damage to the pressure washer pump. The pressure in the tank of the pressure washer needs to be released before making a replacement to the thermal relief valves. An adjustable wrench can be used to remove the old thermal relief valve so the new one can be installed.This thermal relief valve is an authentic OEM replacement component directly sourced from the manufacturer.
