Description

This is a high-quality anti-vibration mount that is located on many Generac portable generators. The anti-vibration mount is seated between the frame and motor and is not the same as the rubber mount found under the frame itself. The purpose of the anti-vibration mount is to cut down on the amount of vibration that the motor can put out. If this part is damaged or starts to malfunction, the generator may begin to make more noise or create more vibration than it previously did. It will need to be replaced to get the generator back into good shape.This part is simple to replace and requires only basic tools and work gloves. First, make sure the generator is unplugged and turned off. Gain access to the frame motor and locate the anti-vibration mount. It can be removed before a new part is placed in the same location.
