Description

This genuine OEM replacement fuel cap screws onto the top of a fuel tank to prevent debris from falling into the tank while the chainsaw is being used and to keep fuel from leaking from the tank. This item includes the cap itself as well as a stopper to keep the cap from falling away. Although manufacturers add a stopper to most fuel cap lids, it is still possible to remove a fuel cap, set it down, lose it, or step on it and break it. If this happens, do not attempt to use the appliance until the fuel cap can be replaced. Operating an appliance without a fuel cap could result in a fire hazard and puts the engine at risk of contamination. Instead, wait to reattach a new cap. This fuel cap is designed for Echo chainsaws, though it may work with some Shindaiwa chainsaws, too.
