Description

This control cable is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in trimmers and other small lawn and garden engines. The control cable is connected to the carburetor to keep it running smoothly. When the trigger is pulled, the control cable opens the valve inside the carburetor to give the engine more gas for power and increasing the RPMs. If the cable breaks or is damaged during use, the trimmer will not run, and the cable will need to be replaced. Remove the spark plug to prevent accidental engine ignition. Remove the screws holding the two halve of the handle together. Take the throttle cable off the trigger and then take the cable out of the handle. Remove the engine cover to reach the carburetor. Remove the choke plate screws and slide the carburetor to reach the cable. Remove the cable and discard it. Install the new cable and reverse the steps to put the machine back together. Install the spark plug and test the engine.This control cable is a black part that is sold as an individual unit. It is designed specifically for use in trimmers made by Echo.
