Description
This is a cylinder head gasket that is located between the cylinder head and the engine block on lawn and garden equipment. This gasket is responsible for sealing in the internal combustion process. It also prevents oil and coolant from mixing as they move from the engine block to the cylinder head. Some signs that a new cylinder head gasket may be needed include fouled spark plugs, leaking coolant, white smoke, an overheating engine, and milky white oil.
As time goes on, gaskets can deteriorate and may crack, which means a replacement is required.
