Description

This fuel line is made to take fuel from the fuel filter in the fuel tank into the carburetor, where it is mixed with air before being ignited with a spark. Over time, the fuel line can become damaged or clogged and cause problems with lawn and garden equipment. Some of the symptoms of a bad fuel line include an engine that cuts out, a smoking engine, or an engine that refuses to start. If the fuel line is cracked or brittle, a replacement is needed. When replacing the fuel line, the replacement part should be pushed through the fuel line grommet before being connected to the carburetor. This results in forcing fuel into the carburetor whenever the primer is pushed. Before starting the replacement, make sure to turn off the engine, remove any spark plugs, and remove fuel from the tank for safety purposes.
