Description

This piston replacement kit is OEM certified as being identical to the factory original parts. This kit is used to replace the piston assembly in certain Echo and Little Wonder gasoline-powered tools. These include over 150 machines such as hedge trimmers, drills, edgers, cultivators, leaf blowers, pole saws, chippers, and grass trimmers. With gasoline powered engines, the piston is a metal part that fits inside a cylinder and moves back and forth with the ignition of the fuel/air mixture. The movement of the piston turns a crankshaft that provides the necessary power to make the tool function. Since the piston is the ultimate moving part in any gas engine, firing back and forth thousands of times every minute, it is not unexpected that it could experience problems. The symptoms of piston issues include a frozen engine, lack of power when running, or white smoke and an oily smell during operation.
