Description

Spark arrestor screens are created to sit inside of the muffler of a gasoline-powered garden tool such as a leaf blower. The screen is used to prevent hot gases from leaving the internal combustion engine. It also stops sparks from coming out of the muffler, which can result in fires. Many locations require arrestor screens on leaf blowers, as well as chainsaws and other lawn and garden equipment. As time goes on, the spark arrestor screen can start to become coated in unburned oil or carbon. If this happens, the leaf blower or other tool will noticeably lose power and may not work as well as it once did. In some cases, it will not be able to reach a full throttle speed. When this occurs, the spark arrestor screen will need to be replaced. This arrestor screen is designed for many lawn and garden tools and is a genuine OEM component sourced directly from the manufacturer.
