Description

This is a replacement tensioner screw that is designed for use with select chainsaws. The chainsaw tensioner screw, also sometimes called a bolt, is responsible for helping adjust the tension of the chain on the saw. Over time, the bolt can become worn or damaged because of the constant vibrations and repetitive motion. Sometimes, impact damage can also cause an issue. In either case, a replacement will be necessary.To replace the tensioner bolt, simply loosen the guide bar and chain tension, and then remove the old bolt. Install the new bolt, reset the tension on the chain, and replace the guide bar. Be sure to disconnect the power and wear gloves when performing this type of repair.
