Description

This is a genuine replacement chain tensioner that is used for select outdoor chainsaws. The chain tensioner is an assembly on chainsaws that is responsible for assisting in adjusting the tension. The included screw is installed near the bar and blade, and that screw is turned in order to increase or decrease the tension. This ensures that the tool has a taut blade that can cut properly. In some cases, this screw or other elements of the tensioner assembly can become worn or damaged. The small pins can also get lost or damaged over time, resulting in the need for a replacement.
