Description

This is an OEM air assembly designed for use in outdoor lawn and garden equipment. The high-quality plastic houses the air filter that prevents contaminants from getting in the carburetor. Regular use of machinery results in normal wear on the air assembly. Scheduled maintenance and inspections will indicate when it is time to replace the entire assembly and not just the air filter. A clean air filter is important in extending the life of the carburetor and the performance of the engine. Dirt, debris, oil, and other contaminants can clog the carburetor. If the air filter is dirty, the carburetor won't get enough air. If the air filter is missing or clogged it can cause engine failure. A clogged air filter can also cause decrease power and increase fuel consumption. If any of these problems are noted, the air assembly should be inspected and replaced.
