Description

This genuine OEM replacement mulching blade is designed for use with select lawn and garden equipment. The blade is responsible for cutting and mulching the grass. It attaches to the base of the mower deck and rotates when the engine is engaged. It is connected by a single bolt and subject to constant vibrations. If the blade dulls, it may require sharpening. However, it may also eventually become dull that it just needs to be replaced. Although it is a heavy duty piece, it could also become damaged due to impact, necessitating a full replacement. This OEM blade is a 21-inch mulching blade that is designed to be used on lawn mowers and tractors from Craftsman. It is sold as an individual piece and does not include any hardware. A wrench is required to replace the blade. Be sure to disconnect the power supply and wear gloves for safety when performing this repair, as well. This blade can be used on walk-behind lawn mowers and select riding lawn tractors from the brand. It is a mulching blade, not a standard cutting blade, so be sure to note that at purchase.
