Description

This replacement air filter is an authentic OEM part for a Husqvarna chainsaw. The air filter is mounted just before the carburetor so that air entering into the engine is free of dust or debris. If particulate matter were to enter the engine, it would contaminate the fuel and create more widespread damage throughout the mechanics. This filter consists of both a plastic casing and a foam filter. After roughly two or three months of regular use, an appliance's air filter will reach its maximum capacity. If left unchecked, the air filter will become so clogged that air will no longer pass into the engine. This would cause the engine to perform poorly as the fuel would not combust as easily. However, changing an air filter is easy as most filter housings just pop open. At most, this might require a screwdriver or wrench. While the filter housing is open, be sure to remove any detritus that may have collected around the filter. This replacement filter is compatible only with Husqvarna chainsaws.
