Description

This is a genuine replacement primer bulb designed for use with select small engines found on outdoor power equipment. The primer bulb is designed to assist with easier starting. Before engaging the engine, the primer bulb should be pushed 3-4 times. That will push fuel into the carburetor to assist with a quicker start. The carburetor has to be filled with fuel and air in order to provide the appropriate mixture to the engine. Without a primer bulb, it could be much more difficult to start engines that have not been run in a while or that might just need some maintenance. This bulb is made of rubber, which can dry out and crack or deteriorate and require a replacement. This genuine OEM primer bulb is manufactured by Craftsman and designed for use on their engines in about two dozen different saws and trimmers. The primer bulb is made of premium rubber material and sold as an individual part. The hardware required to secure this bulb is sold separately. It should only take a few minutes to replace the primer bulb with the right tools. Be sure to disconnect the spark plug and allow the engine to cool before doing repairs like replacing the primer bulb.
