Description

This replacement flywheel assembly for use in chainsaws fits onto the crankshaft. It features magnets along the side that provide an electric charge when the magnets go past the ignition module. The electric charge that is created by the flywheel and ignition module passes to the spark plugs, which spark the air-fuel mix in the cylinder. The metal flywheel could become corroded, which can make parts of it brittle. Over time, the flywheel could also become worn down from natural use, and it might no longer function properly. This would mean that it would be difficult or even impossible to start the chainsaw. When this part fails, owners should replace it right away.
