Description

This vortex front baffle is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in lawnmowers and lawn tractors. The vortex front baffle helps to guide the grass clippings away from under the deck and out the chute when cutting grass. Over time, the front baffle may become damaged from flying debris and stationary objects that crack or damage the plastic. If damage occurs or the baffle breaks away from the mower, it should be replaced.The vortex front baffle is attached to the mower deck and a wrench is required to remove and replace it. Make sure the lawnmower has not been operated prior to repairing the baffle. Once the engine cools, place the lawnmower on a ramp and use the wrench to remove the damaged baffle. Install the new baffle using the old hardware if new hardware was not ordered. Take the lawnmower off the ramps and test the baffle by cutting the grass and checking to see if the baffle guides the clippings out of the chute.This vortex front baffle is a high-quality black plastic part that is sold individually.
