Description

A mechanical clutch assembly that connects and disconnects the motor drive to the transmission in a top-load washing machine. It allows the machine to spin up gradually, protecting the drivetrain during the transition from wash to spin cycles. Replace this part if the washer tub won't spin, spins slowly, or you hear a grinding or squealing noise during the spin cycle.
