Description

This is a Husqvarna deck lift control assembly. The deck lift control assembly dictates the height level of the blades. The knob is shifted forward or backward to lower or raise the deck blade, and the control assembly fastens the shifter in place. A faulty deck lift control assembly can have a substantial impact on the function of the lawn mower. Certain levels may not be reachable if the assembly is damaged. The assembly will be unable to hold the shifter in place if any gear sections are damaged. This type of damage may cause the deck to drag on the ground. To replace this part, remove the bolt holding the original in place and take out the damaged control assembly. To install the new assembly, place it in the recess where the original assembly was and tighten the bolt that was removed initially.
