Description

Ground drive V-belts are most commonly used on riding lawn mowers and garden tractors. This component connects the transaxle pulley to the engine crankshaft in order to drive the rear wheels. It's possible for this V-belt to break, become worn, or get stretched out to the point where the lawn mower will no longer run. A visual inspection will give an indication of whether the V-belt has issues and needs to be replaced. The first thing that needs to be done is disconnecting the spark plug when replacing the V-belt. Wear work gloves through the process of removing the mower deck and taking off the ground drive belt. Once the original V-belt is gone, the new one can be installed over the transaxle pulley and the mower deck can be placed back on. After reconnecting the spark plug and adding fuel to the V-belt, the lawn mower will be ready for use. This is a genuine OEM replacement component that comes straight from the manufacturer.
