Description

This is an authentic OEM replacement ignition module built specifically for Husqvarna lawn appliances. An ignition module, also known as an armature-magneto, is an essential part of a combustion engine's ignition. The ignition module creates pulses of high voltage electricity that the spark plug uses to generate a charge and start the ignition. Without a functional ignition module, the spark plugs and ignition will not engage. The most common reason for an ignition module to break is if the spark plugs have gone bad or are missing from the ignition. The charge generated by an ignition module is quite high, so if the spark plugs are not in place to receive the charge, the high voltage can fry and melt the module. If the spark plugs are not receiving a spark but can carry a charge, the odds are that the ignition module has been fried and will need to be replaced.
