Description

This is an intake tube replacement kit, designed to work with compatible trimmers. The intake tube allows oxygen to reach the motor of the trimmer to enable higher energy output and a more effective engine.Intake tubes are constructed out of durable plastic, but exposure to heat and normal wear and tear can lead to drying out and cracking. This then affects the performance of the trimmer and slows the motor down. When the intake tube isn't functioning properly, it could cause damage to the motor itself. Replacing the intake tube is simple, and will require a screwdriver and pliers. Dismantle current air intake components by removing the outside screws holding the air box in place. Once old, cracked parts are removed; reassemble according to the provided diagram.This part is compatible with Poulan gas string trimmers.
