Description

This fuel line kit is a part used in gasoline-powered edgers and trimmers. It delivers fuel from the gasoline tank to the carburetor where it is mixed with air that has come through the air filter. The mix flows into the combustion chamber where it is ignited to turn the driveshaft of the tool. As an added feature, this fuel line kit also has another line to feed excess fuel back into the gas tank. Extra, unneeded fuel sometimes flows into the carburetor when the engine is cold and users are trying to prime the engine. Although durable and intended to last, this fuel line is subject to weathering over the course of several years, especially when subjected to temperature extremes. A broken or fractured fuel line will leak gasoline, resulting in an extremely dangerous situation. Leaking fuel lines must be replaced immediately.
