Description

This is a genuine OEM replacement mow ball. The mow ball is used with select trimmers. Its role is to prevent the trimmer from cutting the grass too low. The ball assembly comes into constant contact with the ground and can be subject to all kinds of damage. It can even break off or become unusable over time. If this happens, it will need to be replaced to avoid lawn damage.This OEM-authorized part is compatible with select models from Husqvarna and Craftsman and it is manufactured to exact standards. This is sold as an individual unit and does not include the hardware. This assembly includes the housing, the ball bearing, and a retainer ring. The mow ball is compatible with units that feature a round opening, not two flat shafts for installation. To install the mow ball, disconnect the power and remove the old part. Then, use the existing hardware to reattach the new ball. Be sure that it is secure before attempting to use the unit. If the hardware is missing or damaged, it will need to be purchased separately.
