Description

This part is a piston kit that is used on chainsaws. A piston is a moving component inside of the cylinder on a gas-powered chainsaw that moves forward and back at up to 14,000 RPM. The piston can idle at a much lower RPM which allows the chainsaw to remain on without the chain being engaged.A new piston kit may be needed if the engine is unable to achieve sufficient RPM to engage the clutch and turn the chain around the bar.
