Description

This glide plate is compatible with a variety of Craftsman string trimmers for lawn and gardens. It attaches to the cutting head of the machine to ensure the cutting line is secure as it goes into the cutting head. This glide plate is made of durable plastic but regular use can cause wear and tear and the plate may become damaged. If the glide plate is knocked into other items, this can also damage it and prevent it from doing its job. If the glide plate needs to be replaced because it is damaged, cracked, or broken, the process is simple. First, make sure the string trimmer is turned off and place it on a level surface where work can be done. Reach down to the bottom where the part is located and slide it off of the machine. Once it has been removed, the new component can be installed in the opposite way. After installation, the trimmer can be used again.This is a genuine OEM replacement glide plate that is sold on an individual basis.
