This is a genuine replacement oil filter screen that is made for use in select models of chainsaws. This oil filter is made of durable metal and looks like a spring, designed to hold the paper-like filter that catches the debris before it gets into the engine. This oil filter is exposed to a lot of dirt and debris buildup which is why it should be cleaned or replaced as part of routine maintenance.
