This is a spring that is used on many Husqvarna lawnmowers. The component is located in the middle of the retainer and at the drive disk on the rear-wheel drive system. The main purpose of the spring is to ensure proper tension is applied between the drive disk and the pinion gear. Through time or wear and tear, this spring can become damaged or break.
