Description

This is a genuine replacement brake spring that is designed for use with select snowblower units. The brake spring is connected from the idler pulley to the frame assembly. This provides the tension for the brake on the snowblower, allowing the brake to function correctly. Over time, this spring can become worn and stretched and need replaced. There may also be impact damage or other situations where the spring could break. Regardless of the cause, a broken brake spring needs replaced immediately for safe operation of the machine. It is important to disconnect the power and wear gloves when performing repairs on snowblowers, and especially when working near the blades.
