Description

This is a seat switch found on many different lawnmowers. It is a four-pronged plug with a button on the top of the part. The inside of the button has dual sets of contacts. One of them completes the circuit between two blades, while the other focuses on the additional blades. The seat switch turns the motor off if the user leaves the seat while the deck is engaged. It is an important safety component that can prevent injuries and should be replaced if it is damaged or broken.
