Description

This genuine OEM trigger is used on several different types of outdoor equipment, including gas trimmers and edgers. The trigger is attached to the throttle cable to control the speed of the spool assembly. With pressure, the trigger pulls the throttle cable, and in turn, speeds up the spinning hub where the cutting is done. It allows for faster or more difficult cuts to be performed. With routine use of the outdoor equipment, the trigger can break, wear out, or malfunction. Without a properly working trigger, the equipment cannot be controlled with the expected manual adjustments.Replacing the trigger on an edger or trimmer is easy and requires only a screwdriver for most makes and models. Wear work gloves when replacing the trigger. Remove the screws from the control handle housing. Remove the trigger from the throttle cable and put the new one on. Screw back into place and replace the control handle housing.This trigger is a replacement part. It is sold separately. The trigger piece works in a wide assortment of both Husqvarna and Weed Eater trimmers and edgers. The trigger is manufactured using rigid, high-quality plastic, and it is yellow.
