Description

This genuine OEM replacement washer is a specially hardened washer to provide more support for a wide range of different lawn appliances. Washers are usually used in conjunction with a nut and a bolt and act as a barrier between those two parts. Washers help to redistribute pressure to prevent the bolt from giving out over time, as well as to provide a stronger grip. Washers can begin to corrode over time, and when this happens, the washer can fuse together with the bolt or nut. This would make the connection difficult to disengage in the case of a bigger repair. It is good practice, then, to replace washers anytime the nut or bolt is also replaced. This way, all parts age at the same rate and will not have to be individually changed out.
