Description

Created for use with leaf blowers, the air filter housing is located on top of the filter. It is used to ensure dirt, dust, and other debris cannot reach the filter. Without the air filter housing, the filter would become dirty more quickly and require replacement. The air filter housing is an important part made of durable materials, but it can become damaged or lost. If this occurs, the component will need to be replaced.Before the replacement starts, check to be sure the leaf blower is cool and powered off. Remove the spark plug wire to prevent accidental starting of the engine. A screwdriver and other tools may be needed to make the replacement. Locate the air filter housing and unscrew it from the base of the leaf blower to uncover the air filter. The same screws can be inserted into the replacement component and installed on the leaf blower.
