This ice door spring restores the closing tension on the dispenser chute door. Replacing a fatigued spring helps the flap seal properly after dispensing, reducing warm-air leaks that cause frost buildup and ice clumping around the chute. What it does:

Disconnect power to the refrigerator before servicing
