Bruce M New River , AZ August 08, 2016 Lower freezer door would not stay shut turns out a shaft with gears was missing from initial install Ordered the parts, which was a pair of ice gears and the bar that connects them. Had to refer to upper freezer drawer to figure out how the gears fit into the rails. Turns out they snap into a plastic hub that is riveted on the rail. Took some effort to finally get them to snap on. At first it seemed like they would not fit. Really had to apply force to get them to go on. Then added bar, which seems to me to be slightly short in length. It works, but I think if any tension is put on it, it might just fall out. But all seemed to finally go together, and after using a heat gun to loosen the ice that had formed on the bottom, put the drawer together and we will see if it keeps the door shut. Seems like it should, as now if you just start to close the door, it sort of takes over and closes it completely on it's own.
