Leanne S Carmichael , CA June 24, 2014 I decided to quit buying water filters for my refrigerator amd wamted a cap for the outlet My fridge is a Kenmore and four years old. The water filter had to be replaced every six months at a cost of $30 to $50 each or it didn't make ice. I decided not to buy any more filters. Sears Parts first told me that the bypass is built in (but the kitchen flood when I left the filter off), then they couldn't find the part to bypass the filter. The manual mentioned not to lose the cap, but I never received one on installation. So I went on line and found AppliancePartsPros.com and called. The lady found the part immediately and also found the same thing at Sears but at a higher price. The cost with $6.95 shipping was $27.15,less than the cost of one filter. It arrived the NEXT DAY! I couldn't believe it, and I couldn't be happier with APP. Will use them again and recommend them of everyone.
