Rhyne K Jensen Beach , FL May 16, 2018 Appliance: LG Dishwasher LDF7561ST Error code oe each drain cycle would start and stop with faint squealing noises; not fully draining at end of cycle. First determined drain discharge hose was clear. Turned of power to dishwasher. I did not find it necessary to remove the dishwasher. I simply removed the lower service panel at the floor and was able to easily remove the defective pump, unplug it, replace the small rubber check valve flapper before the pump inlet and reinstall the new pump assembly. The dishwasher surprisingly cleans and runs quietly like new again although I found no excuse for the pump failure as it is well designed. Never allow broken glass remain in the filter sump. A shop vacuum is useful to empty the sump. AppliancePartsPros.com promptly sent the correct parts as always. No hassles. Hint: the larger spring clamp is difficult to compress and position so offset pliers were useful. Mike L Lebanon , OH April 13, 2020 Appliance: LG Dishwasher LDF7551ST Drain pump on my lg dishwasher went out I replaced the pump and backflush valve. I was able to replace both by just removing the kick plate and pulling out the dishwasher a little from under the counter so I could tilt the front end up and access the clamps better. Just two hoses and one electric connector. Be sure to have a large towel to soak up the water from inside the hoses. Robert P Folsom , CA March 27, 2022 The dishwasher was not draining completely. Pulsed when draining. Replaced the drain pump and flapper valve. Very easy job. Since I was doing this, I replaced the drain hose too. To have the complete drain system replaced. Replacing the drain hose took the most time, but still easy since I had the dishwasher out of the cabinet. Total time, from pulling it out of the cabinet to starting rinse cycle to check for leaks, 2 hours and no leaks, drains like new. Gerald P Ames , IA January 21, 2023 Appliance: LG Dishwasher LDF7551ST Would not drain all the water out. I purchased a replacement pump and check valve. I was able to remove the lower cover panel and access the pump without having to remove the dishwasher. I disconnected the hangers, the discharge hose, disconnected the electric plug, and remove the larger connection. I disassembled the pump to check and it seemed okay. The old check valve flapper was gone. So I replaced the check valve. When reinstalling the pump, I found it best to start by connecting the larger black hose to the check valve. I put the clamp in the final position and squeezed the clamp to get it fit. Not much clearance through the lower access panel. After the big hose was connected, the electrical, drain hose and hangers were fairly easy to connect. All said, I was able to complete the job in less than an hour. Read More... William M Waukee , IA April 22, 2023 Appliance: LG Dishwasher LDF7774ST Oe error code The dishwasher was not draining and giving OE code. Checked filters and nothing was clogged. Could hear a slight high-pitched whine when trying to run a cancel and drain. Ordered the replacement drain pump, housing, and helpful suggestion while in there to replace the check valve. The motor metered out normally but the impeller was completely seized up. Had my wife hold and tip the dishwasher to give me more room. Simple replacement, the dishwasher is working perfectly now.
